So pleased to announce the release of the music video for my song “On This Night”. This is the second in my series of live-off-the-floor videos captured at Dept.9 Studios in Edmonton, Canada.

This one goes out to my late father, George La Roi III. I wrote “On This Night” after Dad passed away unexpectedly in 2018. As we all come to know, life is beautiful but at times life can also be unbearably sad. Any songwriter will tell you that only some of the songs they write turn out the way they’d like – it’s part of the process. If I had to choose one song of mine to turn out well, it would be this one, so that I might have some peace as I sing it in his honour. Through some divine cosmic alignment of the stars or perhaps, just some random coincidence, it surely did. 

My band nails it on this live off the floor take, captured lovingly by producer Stew Kirkwood. Marc J Chalifoux headed up a team of 3 camera people to make this video happen and spent many hours with me editing it. I’m incredibly grateful to all involved.
