I’m looking forward to finally getting back to Calgary for a live show with the band. I was just thinking earlier today that I haven’t actually played Calgary since Goldtop played the Calgary Folk Music Festival in 2017.
This time I will be travelling with drummer Mike Silverman (Deep Dark Woods, Kacy & Clayton), bassist Tom Murray (Old Reliable, Pal Joey) as well as Alice Kos (GoldTop, Mark Davis) on keys and vocals for an exclusive performance at Calgary’s premier Saturday Afternoon Songwriter Showcase at The Ship & Anchor.
I will be playing songs from my upcoming full length album “Another Day In Song” as well as deep cuts from over the years including songs from the bands I have played in like Goldtop, Idyl Tea and Manraygun.
The Everett LaRoi Band will be joined by very special guest and Polaris Prize Nominee Mark Davis (formerly of Old Reliable) for a set of brand new unreleased gems along with selections from a vast back catalog of critically acclaimed original songs.
This early show begins with music by the Everett LaRoi Band at 2:00pm, followed by Mark Davis at 3:00pm and then an additional set by Everett at 4:00pm. Don’t miss out on the fun, and possibly a wee bit of day drinking, at this exclusive show at Calgary’s legendary Ship and Anchor Saturday Showcase, on October 5, 2024 from 2-5pm.
